Certainly, the length of proving of cases, particularly criminal cases, is to proof beyond reasonable doubt in order to receive favorable judgement.
This length of proving on the surface of it contain obscurity as against clarity in application with the question of what will it take to proof beyond reasonable doubt?
Instead of importing evidences from Pluto or Mars. Hence, the court in this case had in simplitude term, gave a cut of certainty.

This is so because by Section 36(5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended), every person who is charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed to be innocent until he is proved guilty. May | state clearly that proof beyond reasonable doubt does not mean proof beyond all doubt or all shadow of doubt. It simply means establishing the guilt of the accused person with compelling and conclusive evidence, a degree of compulsion which is consistent with a high degree of probability. It is not proof to the hilt.
