MISSIVES BEHIND THE CURTAIN
____I’ll find you no more____


I’ve been so many places,
Looking through many faces,
Searching for that special one,
That angel that was lost in heaven.

Each time I shoot,
The goalposts becomes adjusted,
I target times without number,
The treasure becomes substituted.

VAR denied me a couple of times,
Away goal knocked me out,
I was overruled for offside,
The league became adjourned in one instance.

I’ll find you no more,
You’ll walk into my coffers,
I’ll seat home waiting for you,
You’ll be mine eventually if you’re meant to be.

One day that special person will step their feet into our island,
Our readiness becomes a major concern,
Or if we’ve actually profiled everyone wrongly,
Don’t be too blind to know that not everything is business as usual.
