If hard work pays,
Ours wouldn’t be an exception,
We will win against the tide,
Triumphing over all obstacles.
Doubters will be our greatest cheerer,
Friends will come back as fans
Trying times will be thrown back as testimonies,
We will be the archetype of how to make it.
Commitment is not a one off thing,
We have to be persistent in our push,
The belt can’t be ours while we shadow box,
Be honest with yourself at all times.
Confide in you to succeed,
Understand that you don’t stop when you are tired,
You only halt when you are accomplished,
The race doesn’t end till we go 6ft.
I seek your grace oh Lord,
Your endless mercies over my late father,
Preserve my mother to eat the fruit of her labour,
Bless all those supporting my writings.
